(Sri Durga Ashtottara Shatanamavali (Brahmyai Namah) in Bengali)
Also known as shri durga ashtottara shatanamavali (brahmyai namah) · shree durga ashtottara shatanamavali (brahmyai namah) · durga ashtottara shatanamavali (brahmyai namah)
A hundred and eight names of Durga that open not with her own name but with the seven Mothers — Brahmi, Maheshvari, Kaumari, Vaishnavi, Varahi, Indrani and Chamunda — and only then move to Uma, Katyayani, Gauri, Kali and Haimavati. The list is a synthesis, and reading it in order shows what it is joining: the Mothers first, then the household names of the mountain's daughter, then Matangi, Bhairavi and Bhuvaneshwari from among the great knowledges, then Kundalini and the forms of will and action. It closes by raising her twice over, as Mahadurga and Mahakalini, and then a last time as Mahatripurasundari, which sets the whole litany within the Shrividya.
