Lord Vishnu

śrī puruṣottama stutiḥ

(Sri Purushottama Stuti (Prahlada Krutam) in English (IAST))

From Vishnu Purana

Also known as shri purushottama stuti (prahlada krutam) · shree purushottama stuti (prahlada krutam) · purushottama stuti (prahlada krutam)

Four verses spoken by Prahlada in the Vishnu Purana, and nearly every phrase in them is a pair of opposites held together. He is addressed as gross and subtle, perishable and imperishable, manifest and unmanifest; as the collyrium of the qualities and their support, the self of what has no qualities and yet fixed in them; as embodied and bodiless, of great body and of subtle body, evident and unevident; as the self of the eternal expanse and of the non-eternal, and free of all expanse; as one and as many. The whole stuti is built from that figure and from nothing else — it names no deed, tells no story, and asks for nothing whatever.
