ଶ୍ରୀ ଗଦାଧର ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍ (ଵରାହ ପୁରାଣେ)

Ten verses from the seventh chapter of the Varaha Purana, spoken there by the sage Raibhya, addressing Vishnu by the name of his mace. He is the mace-bearer praised by the wise, the bearer of patience, the destroyer of the distress of the hungry, the crusher of the vast army of the demons; the ancient person, praised in the strongholds, spotless, the goal of men, Trivikrama who took the earth back. One verse compresses the three gods into a single figure — the same who from the seed creates the four-faced one, who in the form of Narayana protects the world, and who as the body of Rudra brings it to an end. The last says that Matsya and the other names are what he answers to in the worlds, and that guarding the gods is what makes him Vrishakapi.
