- யோகப்ரதகணேஶஸ்தோத்ரம் (yogapradagaṇeśastotram)the Ganesha hymn that gives yoga
anvaya யோகப்ரதகணேஶஸ்தோத்ரம்
chandas Prose, the title
யோக yoga — Here yoga means the joining of two things that looked separate. The whole hymn is built on pairs, and on the god standing where each pair meets.
note From the Mudgala Purana. Kapila is the speaker, and the hymn is written in his own idiom: each verse hands the god one thing out of a pair and then names him as the place the two come together.

anvaya கபிலஃ உவாச
chandas Prose, a speaker's line
