കലാധരഃ കാലഹേതുഃ കാമകൃത്കാമദായകഃ ।
ദശാശ്വരധ സംരൂഢ ദണ്ഡപാണിര്ഥനുര്ധരഃ ॥ 2 ॥

- ധനുര്ധരഃ (dhanurdharaḥ)bearing the bow
ചന്ദ്രാരിഷ്ടേതു സമ്പ്രാപ്തേ ചന്ദ്ര പൂജാഞ്ച കാരയേത് ।
ചന്ദ്രധ്യാനം വ്രപക്ഷ്യാമി മനഃ പീഡോശാന്തയേ ॥ 3 ॥

- ഔദുമ്ബരനഗാവാസഃ (audumbaranagāvāsaḥ)dwelling on the udumbara hill
- ഉദാരഃ (udāraḥ)noble
- രോഹിണീപതിഃ (rohiṇīpatiḥ)lord of Rohiṇī
ശ്വേത മാല്യാമ്ബരധരം ശ്വേതഗന്ദാനുലേപനമ് ।
ശ്വേതച്ഛത്ര ധരം ദേവം തം സോമം പ്രണമാമ്യഹമ് ॥ 5 ॥
