শ্ৰীগনপতি ভজ প্ৰগট পাৰ্ৱতী

Worship Shri Ganapati, the eternal Lord, who has been born and sits in Parvati's lap. Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and all the gods happily perform his aarti.

Feeling that Shiva, holder of the trident, was truly blessed, everyone gathered at Kailasa. They meditated, the gandharvas sang, and flowers fell like rain.

Blessed is Bhavani! By keeping her vow, she received as her son the Supreme Lord of Goloka. He never changes, has no beginning, is whole and is beyond everything, yet he comes into the world for his devotees.

He is full of knowledge and wisdom and rich in every virtue. He destroys obstacles and sorrow. Tushti (contentment), Pushti (nourishment), Shubha (goodness), Labha (gain) and Lakshmi (wealth) are always with him, and Riddhi and Siddhi serve him.

When his twelve names are recited, every task in the world succeeds. Like Kamadhenu the wish-giving cow, the Chintamani jewel and the wish-granting tree of heaven, he gives all four goals of life.

He has an elephant's face, one tusk and a trunk, he is the home of all that is good, and he is worshipped in Kashi as Dhundhiraja. He has four arms, holds a modak in his palm, and carries a goad and an axe.

A snake is his sacred thread. He has three eyes and the moon on his forehead, rides a mouse, and is full of happiness. For those who remember and serve him, the noose of Yama, the god of death, is cut.

Krishnapal says: whoever keeps meditating on him and sings this with a devoted heart, the Lord removes the troubles of worldly life for them, and they reach liberation and his own home.
