- मनोरथसिद्धिप्रदगणेशस्तोत्रम् (manorathasiddhipradagaṇeśastotram)the Ganesha hymn that brings what the heart is set on
anvaya मनोरथसिद्धिप्रदगणेशस्तोत्रम्
chandas Prose, the title
मनोरथ what the heart is set on — Manoratha is the mind's chariot: the thing a person keeps going back to in thought.
note From the Ganesha Purana. Skanda is the speaker, and his praise is worked out point by point, each verse explaining why some feature of his brother's form is what it is.
- स्कन्दः (skandaḥ)Skanda
- उवाच (uvāca)said
anvaya स्कन्दः उवाच
chandas Prose, a speaker's line

सम्प्रज्ञान knowing that still has an object — In Patanjali's yoga, samprajnata samadhi still rests on something; asamprajnata rests on nothing at all. The verse puts the first in the body and the second in the head.
