த்வாதஶ ஜ்யோதிர்லிங்க ஸ்தோத்ரம்

I take refuge in Lord Somanath, who resides in the bright and beautiful land of Saurashtra, who is radiant with light, adorned with the crescent moon, and who has descended out of grace to bestow devotion upon his followers.

I bow to the one known as Mallikarjuna, who dwells joyfully upon the lofty peaks of Shrishaila, a place frequented by the celestial beings, and who serves as the bridge for crossing the ocean of worldly existence.

I worship Mahakala, the great Lord of the gods, who incarnated in Avantika to grant liberation to the virtuous and to protect his devotees from untimely death.

I praise the one Lord Shiva, known as Omkara, who dwells forever in the city of Mandhata, at the sacred confluence of the Kaveri and Narmada rivers, for the deliverance of the righteous.

I bow to Shri Vaidyanath, who resides eternally in the northeast at the abode of the glowing fire, accompanied by Goddess Girija, and whose lotus feet are worshipped by both gods and demons.

I take refuge in the unique Lord Shrinaganath, who dwells in the beautiful city of Audhagram in the south, adorned with various offerings, and who bestows both true devotion and liberation.

I praise the one Lord Shiva, known as Kedara, who dwells on the slopes of the great mountain, constantly worshipped by the foremost sages, as well as by gods, demons, Yakshas, and great serpents.

I praise Lord Tryambaka, who resides upon the pure heights of the Sahyadri mountains in a region sanctified by the banks of the Godavari river, and whose very sight causes all sins to vanish instantly.

I constantly bow to the deity known as Rameshwara, who was established by Shri Ramachandra after building a bridge of countless arrows at the sacred confluence of the Tamraparni river and the ocean.

I bow to the well-wisher of his devotees, Lord Shankara, known as Bhima, who is constantly served by the assemblies of Dakinis and Shakinis, as well as by those who consume flesh.

I take refuge in Lord Vishwanath, the Lord of Varanasi and the protector of those who have no protector. He resides in the blissful city of Kashi, is the source of all joy, and the destroyer of all sins.

I bow to and seek refuge in the Lord known as Ghrishneshwar, who manifests in the beautiful and expansive land of Ilapura. He is the most exalted in the universe and possesses a profoundly generous nature. Whoever recites this hymn of the twelve effulgent Jyotirlingas, which represent the essence of Shiva, with great devotion, will attain the fruits of their prayers and realize the divine presence within themselves.
