praśnopaniṣad - dvitīyaḥ praśnaḥ

(Prashna Upanishad - Second Question in English (IAST))

From Atharva Veda

The Prashna Upanishad is a classical Vedic text featuring a dialogue between the sage Pippalada and six seekers of truth. In this second chapter, the sage explains the nature of the vital forces, or Prana, which sustain and animate the living body. By categorizing the elements and senses, the text reveals Prana as the supreme force that upholds existence. Contemplating this wisdom offers deep insight into the energetic foundations of life, helping the seeker harmonize their inner vital currents and attain a profound understanding of the interconnectedness between the individual self and the cosmic manifest reality.
