നാരായണം പരബ്രഹ്മ സര്വ-കാരണ-കാരണമ് ।
പ്രപദ്യേ വേങ്കടേശാഖ്യം തദേവ കവചം മമ ॥ 1 ॥

സഹസ്ര-ശീര്ഷാ പുരുഷോ വേങ്കടേശ-ശ്ശിരോഽവതു ।
പ്രാണേശഃ പ്രാണ-നിലയഃ പ്രാണാന് രക്ഷതു മേ ഹരിഃ ॥ 2 ॥

സായം പ്രാതഃ പഠേന്നിത്യം മൃത്യും തരതി നിര്ഭയഃ ॥ 5 ॥
