மஹீஸுதோ மஹாபாகோ மங்கலோ மங்கலப்ரதஃ ।
மஹாவீரோ மஹாஶூரோ மஹாபலபராக்ரமஃ ॥ 1 ॥
He is the son of the Earth, immensely fortunate, the auspicious one who bestows auspiciousness, the great warrior, the highly valorous one, and the possessor of immense strength and prowess.
மஹாரௌத்ரோ மஹாபத்ரோ மாநநீயோ தயாகரஃ ।
மாநதோऽமர்ஷணஃ க்ரூரஸ்தாபபாபவிவர்ஜிதஃ ॥ 2 ॥
He is terrifying in his wrath, supremely noble, worthy of honor, and compassionate. He bestows honor, is easily provoked, fierce, and free from the heat of sins and afflictions.
ஸுப்ரதீபஃ ஸுதாம்ராக்ஷஃ ஸுப்ரஹ்மண்யஃ ஸுகப்ரதஃ ।
வக்ரஸ்தம்பாதிகமநோ வரேண்யோ வரதஃ ஸுகீ ॥ 3 ॥
He is strongly opposing to enemies, has beautiful copper-colored eyes, is the divine Kumara (Subrahmanya), and is the bestower of happiness. He moves in retrograde and stationary motions, is most excellent, a granter of boons, and ever joyful.
வீரபத்ரோ விரூபாக்ஷோ விதூரஸ்தோ விபாவஸுஃ ।
நக்ஷத்ரசக்ரஸஞ்சாரீ க்ஷத்ரபஃ க்ஷாத்ரவர்ஜிதஃ ॥ 4 ॥
He is Virabhadra, the one with unique eyes, the one who dwells at a distance, and the one who shines with the radiance of fire. He moves through the cycle of constellations, is the protector of the warrior class, and embodies the essence of valor.
க்ஷயவ்ரு'த்திவிநிர்முக்தஃ க்ஷமாயுக்தோ விசக்ஷணஃ ।
அக்ஷீணபலதஃ சக்ஷுர்கோசரஃ ஶுபலக்ஷணஃ ॥ 5 ॥
He is free from the cycles of decay and growth, filled with forbearance, and discerning. He bestows inexhaustible results, is visible to the eyes, and possesses all auspicious signs.
வீதராகோ வீதபயோ விஜ்வரோ விஶ்வகாரணஃ ।
நக்ஷத்ரராஶிஸஞ்சாரோ நாநாபயநிக்ரு'ந்தநஃ ॥ 6 ॥
He is free from attachment, free from fear, free from suffering, and the cause of the universe. He moves through the constellations and zodiac signs, and cuts through all kinds of fears.
கமநீயோ தயாஸாரஃ கநத்கநகபூஷணஃ ।
பயக்நோ பவ்யபலதோ பக்தாபயவரப்ரதஃ ॥ 7 ॥
He is desirable, the essence of compassion, and adorned with shining golden ornaments. He is the destroyer of fear, the bestower of magnificent fruits, and the provider of the boon of fearlessness to his devotees.
ஶத்ருஹந்தா ஶமோபேதஃ ஶரணாகதபோஷகஃ ।
ஸாஹஸஃ ஸத்குணாऽத்யக்ஷஃ ஸாதுஃ ஸமரதுர்ஜயஃ ॥ 8 ॥
He is the destroyer of enemies, established in tranquility, and the nurturer of those who seek refuge. He is courageous, the presiding authority of noble virtues, righteous, and invincible in battle.
துஷ்டதூரஃ ஶிஷ்டபூஜ்யஃ ஸர்வகஷ்டநிவாரகஃ ।
துஶ்சேஷ்டவாரகோ துஃகபஞ்ஜநோ துர்தரோ ஹரிஃ ॥ 9 ॥
He keeps the wicked at a distance, is worshipped by the virtuous, and is the remover of all distress. He prevents evil actions, shatters sorrows, is difficult to restrain, and is the remover of sins.
துஃஸ்வப்நஹந்தா துர்தர்ஷோ துஷ்டகர்வவிமோசகஃ ।
பரத்வாஜகுலோத்பூதோ பூஸுதோ பவ்யபூஷணஃ ॥ 10 ॥
He is the destroyer of bad dreams, unassailable, the dispeller of the pride of the wicked, born in the lineage of Bharadwaja, the son of the Earth, and the beautiful ornament of the world.
ரக்தாம்பரோ ரக்தவபுர்பக்தபாலநதத்பரஃ ।
சதுர்புஜோ கதாதாரீ மேஷவாஹோऽமிதாஶநஃ ॥ 11 ॥
He is adorned in red garments, possesses a crimson body, and is ever devoted to protecting His devotees. He has four arms, wields a mace, rides a ram, and consumes an immense amount of energy.
ஶக்திஶூலதரஃ ஶக்தஃ ஶஸ்த்ரவித்யாவிஶாரதஃ ।
தார்கிகஸ்தாமஸாதாரஸ்தபஸ்வீ தாம்ரலோசநஃ ॥ 12 ॥
He bears the spear and the trident; He is powerful, an expert in the science of weaponry, a skilled logician, the refuge of those in the mode of ignorance, an ascetic, and possesses copper-colored eyes.
தப்தகாஞ்சநஸங்காஶோ ரக்தகிஞ்ஜல்கஸந்நிபஃ ।
கோத்ராதிதேவோ கோமத்யசரோ குணவிபூஷணஃ ॥ 13 ॥
He shines like molten gold and resembles the filaments of a red lotus. He is the presiding deity of the lineage, moves amidst the stars, and is adorned by virtues.
அஸ்ரு'கங்காரகோऽவந்தீதேஶாதீஶோ ஜநார்தநஃ ।
ஸூர்யயாம்யப்ரதேஶஸ்தோ யௌவநோ யாம்யதிங்முகஃ ॥ 14 ॥
He is Asrug (the blood-born), Angaraka (the coal-hued), the Lord of the Avanti region, and the remover of the people's afflictions. He is situated in the southern region of the sun, remains eternally youthful, and faces the southern direction.
த்ரிகோணமண்டலகதஸ்த்ரிதஶாதிபஸந்நுதஃ ।
ஶுசிஃ ஶுசிகரஃ ஶூரோ ஶுசிவஶ்யஃ ஶுபாவஹஃ ॥ 15 ॥
He resides within a triangular mandala and is praised by the king of the gods (Indra). He is pure, the bestower of purity, heroic, controlled by purity, and the bringer of auspiciousness.
மேஷவ்ரு'ஶ்சிகராஶீஶோ மேதாவீ மிதபாஷணஃ ।
ஸுகப்ரதஃ ஸுரூபாக்ஷஃ ஸர்வாபீஷ்டபலப்ரதஃ ॥ 16 ॥
He is the lord of the Aries and Scorpio signs, highly intelligent, measured in his speech, the granter of happiness, possesses beautiful eyes, and bestows the fruits of all desired wishes.
