গকাররূপো গম্বীজো গণেশো গণবন্দিতঃ ।
গণনীযো গণোগণ্যো গণনাতীত সদ্গুণঃ ॥ 1 ॥
He who is the embodiment of the syllable 'Ga', whose seed-mantra is 'Gam', who is the Lord of the Ganas, praised by the Ganas, the one to be reckoned with, the foremost among the Ganas, and whose noble virtues are beyond all count.
গগনাদিকসৃদ্গঙ্গাসুতোগঙ্গাসুতার্চিতঃ ।
গঙ্গাধরপ্রীতিকরোগবীশেড্যোগদাপহঃ ॥ 2 ॥
He who created the firmament and other elements, who is like a son to the Ganges, worshipped by the son of the Ganges (Kartikeya), who brings joy to Shiva (the bearer of the Ganges), who is worshipped by the Lord of the Ganas, and who is the destroyer of obstacles.
গদাধরনুতো গদ্যপদ্যাত্মককবিত্বদঃ ।
গজাস্যো গজলক্ষ্মীবান্ গজবাজিরথপ্রদঃ ॥ 3 ॥
He who is praised by Vishnu (the wielder of the mace), who bestows the gift of poetry in both prose and verse, who possesses the face of an elephant, who is the abode of Gajalakshmi, and who grants elephants, horses, and chariots.
গঞ্জানিরত শিক্ষাকৃদ্গণিতজ্ঞো গণোত্তমঃ ।
গণ্ডদানাঞ্চিতোগন্তা গণ্ডোপল সমাকৃতিঃ ॥ 4 ॥
He who is immersed in the divine fragrance, who provides instruction, who is the knower of mathematics, who is the supreme among the Ganas, who is adorned with the flow of ichor from his cheeks, who is the traveler, and whose form resembles the stone of a mountain.
গগন ব্যাপকো গম্যো গমানাদি বিবর্জিতঃ ।
গণ্ডদোষহরো গণ্ড ভ্রমদ্ভ্রমর কুণ্ডলঃ ॥ 5 ॥
He who pervades the entire sky, who is accessible, who is devoid of any beginning or end, who destroys the doshas (malefic influences) of the junction points (ganda), and whose cheeks are surrounded by humming bees.
গতাগতজ্ঞো গতিদো গতমৃত্যুর্গতোদ্ভবঃ ।
গন্ধপ্রিযো গন্ধবাহো গন্ধসিন্ধুরবৃন্দগঃ ॥ 6 ॥
He who knows the coming and going of all, who grants the ultimate destination, who has transcended birth and death, who delights in fragrance, who is carried by the wind, and who leads the herd of fragrant, majestic elephants.
গন্ধাদি পূজিতো গব্যভোক্তা গর্গাদি সন্নুতঃ ।
গরিষ্ঠোগরভিদ্গর্বহরো গরলিভূষণঃ ॥ 7 ॥
He who is worshipped with substances like sandalwood, who partakes of dairy offerings, who is praised by sages like Garga, who is most venerable, who destroys poison, who humbles arrogance, and who is adorned by the serpent (the one who wears poison as an ornament).
গবিষ্ঠোগর্জিতারাবো গভীরহৃদযো গদী ।
গলত্কুষ্ঠহরো গর্ভপ্রদো গর্ভার্ভরক্ষকঃ ॥ 8 ॥
He who is desired by the learned, whose voice is like the roar of thunder, whose heart is deep and profound, who carries the mace, who cures the disease of leprosy, who grants the blessing of progeny, and who protects the fetus in the womb.
গর্ভাধারো গর্ভবাসি শিশুজ্ঞান প্রদাযকঃ ।
গরুত্মত্তুল্যজবনো গরুডধ্বজবন্দিতঃ ॥ 9 ॥
He who is the base of the womb, who grants knowledge to the child dwelling in the womb, whose speed is like that of Garuda, and who is worshipped by Vishnu (the one with Garuda on his banner).
গযেডিতো গযাশ্রাদ্ধফলদশ্চ গযাকৃতিঃ ।
গদাধরাবতারীচ গন্ধর্বনগরার্চিতঃ ॥ 10 ॥
He who is praised at Gaya, who bestows the fruit of the Gaya Shraddha, who is the very form of Gaya, who is an avatar of the mace-wielder (Vishnu), and who is worshipped by the Gandharvas.
গন্ধর্বগানসন্তুষ্টো গরুডাগ্রজবন্দিতঃ ।
গণরাত্র সমারাধ্যো গর্হণস্তুতি সাম্যধীঃ ॥ 11 ॥
He who is satisfied by the music of the Gandharvas, who is revered by Garuda’s elder brother (Aruna), who is worshipped during the Ganaratra (night festivals), and who possesses an equal mind toward both praise and blame.
গর্তাভনাভির্গব্যূতিঃ দীর্ঘতুণ্ডো গভস্তিমান্ ।
গর্হিতাচার দূরশ্চ গরুডোপলভূষিতঃ ॥ 12 ॥
He whose navel is deep like a pit, who extends his influence over vast distances, who has a long trunk, who radiates like the sun, who is far removed from sinful conduct, and who is adorned with emeralds.
গজারি বিক্রমো গন্ধমূষবাজী গতশ্রমঃ ।
গবেষণীযো গমনো গহনস্থ মুনিস্তুতঃ ॥ 13 ॥
He who possesses the valor to defeat the enemies of the elephant (or Shiva, the foe of Gaja), who has a mouse for a vehicle, who is free from all fatigue, who is sought after by seekers, who is the moving force of the universe, and who is praised by sages dwelling in deep forests.
গবযচ্ছিদ্গণ্ডকভিদ্গহ্বরাপথবারণঃ ।
গজদন্তাযুধো গর্জদ্রিপুঘ্নো গজকর্ণিকঃ ॥ 14 ॥
He who destroys the Gavaya (wild ox) and the rhinoceros, who removes obstacles from hidden and difficult paths, whose weapons are his own tusks, who destroys roaring enemies, and who has ears like those of an elephant.
গজচর্মামযচ্ছেত্তা গণাধ্যক্ষোগণার্চিতঃ ।
গণিকানর্তনপ্রীতোগচ্ছন্ গন্ধফলী প্রিযঃ ॥ 15 ॥
He who cuts through the bonds of worldly existence (like cutting through elephant skin), who is the Lord of the Ganas, who is worshipped by the Ganas, who delights in the dance of courtesans, who moves freely everywhere, and who loves the fragrance of the Champaka flower.
গন্ধকাদি রসাধীশো গণকানন্দদাযকঃ ।
গরভাদিজনুর্হর্তা গণ্ডকীগাহনোত্সুকঃ ॥ 16 ॥
He who is the master of minerals and essences, who bestows joy upon the calculators (astrologers/scholars), who destroys the cycle of birth in the womb, and who is eager to bathe in the Gandaki River.
গণ্ডূষীকৃতবারাশিঃ গরিমালঘিমাদিদঃ ।
গবাক্ষবত্সৌধবাসীগর্ভিতো গর্ভিণীনুতঃ ॥ 17 ॥
He who swallowed the ocean in a single mouthful, who grants the eight yogic powers such as Garima (heaviness) and Laghima (lightness), who resides in palaces with round windows, and who is praised by those who are pregnant.
গন্ধমাদনশৈলাভো গণ্ডভেরুণ্ডবিক্রমঃ ।
গদিতো গদ্গদারাব সংস্তুতো গহ্বরীপতিঃ ॥ 18 ॥
He who resembles the Gandhamadana mountain in stature, who possesses the fierce strength of the mythical Gandabherunda bird, who is extolled by those with faltering voices due to devotion, and who is the Lord of the mountain caves.
গজেশায গরীযসে গদ্যেড্যোগতভীর্গদিতাগমঃ ।
গর্হণীয গুণাভাবো গঙ্গাদিক শুচিপ্রদঃ ॥ 19 ॥
He who is the Lord of elephants, who is supreme, who is praised through prose, who is free from fear, whose knowledge is established in the scriptures, who is devoid of any blameworthy qualities, and who grants the purity associated with the Ganges and other holy rivers.
গণনাতীত বিদ্যাশ্রী বলাযুষ্যাদিদাযকঃ ।
এবং শ্রীগণনাথস্য নাম্নামষ্টোত্তরং শতম্ ॥ 20 ॥
He who bestows immeasurable knowledge, prosperity, strength, and longevity; thus concludes the one hundred and eight names of the Lord of the Ganas.
পঠনাচ্ছ্রবণাত্ পুংসাং শ্রেযঃ প্রেমপ্রদাযকম্ ।
পূজান্তে যঃ পঠেন্নিত্যং প্রীতস্সন্ তস্যবিঘ্নরাট্ ॥ 21 ॥
For those who recite or listen to this hymn, it bestows prosperity and devotion. Lord Ganesha, the king of obstacles, becomes pleased with the devotee who recites this daily at the conclusion of their worship.
যং যং কামযতে কামং তং তং শীঘ্রং প্রযচ্ছতি ।
দূর্বযাভ্যর্চযন্ দেবমেকবিংশতিবাসরান্ ॥ 22 ॥
Whatever desire one may harbor, the Lord grants it quickly if one worships Him with Durva grass for twenty-one days.
একবিংশতিবারং যো নিত্যং স্তোত্রং পঠেদ্যদি ।
তস্য প্রসন্নো বিঘ্নেশস্সর্বান্ কামান্ প্রযচ্ছতি ॥ 23 ॥
If one recites this hymn twenty-one times daily, Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, becomes pleased and grants all of one’s desires.
