The divine sages praise Ganesha in the sixty-fifth chapter of the Mudgala Purana's Ekadanta Charita, and the hymn is built almost entirely out of one word: jaya, victory, repeated at the head of every half-line for nine verses together. He is hailed as Pushtipati, lord of nourishment, and as Dhundhi, the name Kashi gives him; as the ground of endless qualities and the giver of accomplishment; as the one who knows the argument of the Vedanta and is its cause; as the player in maya, unmanifest and elephant-faced, the witness in the great belly; as the one who holds the single tusk, the noose and goad and axe; as dweller in the heart of the yogis, destroyer of poor thinking. The tenth verse drops the litany for a slower measure of fourfold salutation, ending with the giver of great happiness.

ದೇವರ್ಷಯ ಊಚುಃ ।
ಜಯ ದೇವ ಗಣಾಧೀಶ ಜಯ ವಿಘ್ನಹರಾವ್ಯಯ ।
ಜಯ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಪತೇ ಢುಣ್ಢೇ ಜಯ ಸರ್ವೇಶ ಸತ್ತಮ ॥ ೧ ॥
ಜಯಾನನ್ತ ಗುಣಾಧಾರ ಜಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಪ್ರದ ಪ್ರಭೋ ।
ಜಯ ಯೋಗೇನ ಯೋಗಾತ್ಮನ್ ಜಯ ಶಾನ್ತಿಪ್ರದಾಯಕ ॥ ೨ ॥
ಜಯ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮೇಶ ಸರ್ವಜ್ಞ ಜಯ ಸರ್ವಪ್ರಿಯಙ್ಕರ ।
ಜಯ ಸ್ವಾನನ್ದಪಸ್ಥಾಯಿನ್ ಜಯ ವೇದವಿದಾಂವರ ॥ ೩ ॥
ಜಯ ವೇದಾನ್ತವಾದಜ್ಞ ಜಯ ವೇದಾನ್ತಕಾರಣ ।
ಜಯ ಬುದ್ಧಿಧರ ಪ್ರಾಜ್ಞ ಜಯ ಸರ್ವಾಮರಪ್ರಿಯ ॥ ೪ ॥
ಜಯ ಮಾಯಾಮಯೇ ಖೇಲಿನ್ ಜಯಾವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಗಜಾನನ ।
ಜಯ ಲಮ್ಬೋದರಃ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿನ್ ಜಯ ದುರ್ಮತಿನಾಶನ ॥ ೫ ॥
ಜಯೈಕದನ್ತಹಸ್ತಸ್ತ್ವಂ ಜಯೈಕರದಧಾರಕ ।
ಜಯ ಯೋಗಿಹೃದಿಸ್ಥ ತ್ವಂ ಜಯ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣಪೂಜಿತ ॥ ೬ ॥
ಜಯ ಕರ್ಮ ತಪೋರೂಪ ಜಯ ಜ್ಞಾನಪ್ರದಾಯಕ ।
ಜಯಾಮೇಯ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ ಜಯ ಪೂರ್ಣಮನೋರಥ ॥ ೭ ॥
ಜಯಾನನ್ದ ಗಣೇಶಾನ ಜಯ ಪಾಶಾಙ್ಕುಶಪ್ರಿಯ ।
ಜಯ ಪರ್ಶುಧರ ತ್ವಂ ವೈ ಜಯ ಪಾವನಕಾರಕ ॥ ೮ ॥
ಜಯ ಭಕ್ತಾಭಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಜಯ ಭಕ್ತಮಹಾಪ್ರಿಯ ।
ಜಯ ಭಕ್ತೇಶ ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ ಜಯ ನಾಥ ಮಹೋದರ ॥ ೯ ॥
ನಮೋ ನಮಸ್ತೇ ಗಣನಾಯಕಾಯ
ನಮೋ ನಮಸ್ತೇ ಸಕಲಾತ್ಮಕಾಯ ।
ನಮೋ ನಮಸ್ತೇ ಭವಮೋಚನಾಯ
ನಮೋ ನಮಸ್ತೇಽತಿಸುಖಪ್ರದಾಯ ॥ ೧೦ ॥
ಇತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ಮುದ್ಗಲೇ ಮಹಾಪುರಾಣೇ ಏಕದನ್ತಚರಿತೇ ಪಞ್ಚಷಷ್ಟಿತಮೋಽಧ್ಯಾಯೇ ದೇವರ್ಷಿಕೃತ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಪತಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮ್ ॥
