Reddened by the saffron from Lakshmi's breasts, of dark blue form, with eyes wide as the lotus, lord of all — O lord of the Venkata hill, be victorious!

O crest-jewel of all the gods including four-faced Brahma and six-faced Kumara, O ocean of essence, refuge of those who surrender — protect me, O lord of Vrishadri.

I have committed countless offences repeatedly, O lord of Venkata — forgive me swiftly with your supreme compassion, O Hari.

On the generous Venkata hill, among all the liberal givers, praised by the Vedas as the supreme deity — I know no greater god than the beloved of Kamala (Vishnu).

Encircled by hundreds of thousands of cowherd maidens captivated by the sweet flute, equal to millions of Kamadevas — I know no greater god than the son of Vasudeva (Krishna).

O Dasharatha's son, treasury of auspicious qualities, sole wielder of the bow in all worlds, O Rama of firm mind, lord of Rama, O all-pervading one — be gracious, O ocean of compassion.

I meditate on Rama who grasps the tender lotus hand of Sita, moon-faced, annihilator of the proud rakshasas — the great and glorious Raghava.

Charming-faced, a true friend, easily approachable, bliss-giving, with a noble younger brother, of beautiful form, unfailing arrows — I worship none but the two Raghavas.

There is no lord for me other than Venkatesha; I always remember Venkatesha. O Hari Venkatesha, be gracious; O Venkatesha, grant me what I cherish.

Having come from afar, eager to bow at your lotus feet, I render this service. Grant me the fruit of constant eternal service for this single act of devotion, O lord Venkatesha.

O Hari, in my ignorance I have committed countless offences. Forgive me, forgive me, O crest-jewel of Sheshadri.
