ஶுக்ர க்ரஹ பஞ்சரத்ந ஸ்தோத்ரம்

I bow to Bhārgava (Venus), bright as snow, the lotus stalk, and kuśa grass, the supreme preceptor of the demons, the teacher of all scriptures. (1)

Wearing white robes and white garlands, anointed with white sandal paste, adorned with diamond and ruby ornaments, resplendent with a jewelled crown and diadem — (2)

White-robed, of white body, endowed with four arms, seated on a jewelled lion-throne, riding a chariot, of silver radiance — (3)

Bhṛgu, the giver of all enjoyment, ever devoted to protecting the gods upon the earth; bestower of all prosperity, praised by the hosts of heaven — (4)

I bow to that Bhārgava, holding a staff, with boon-bestowing gestures, adorned with divine radiance, bearing a rosary and a water pot. (5)
