The Chandra Ashtottara Shata Nama Stotram is a sacred hymn consisting of one hundred and eight auspicious names of the Moon God. Originating from the Puranic tradition, this stotram glorifies Chandra as the ruler of the night, the nectar of life, and a vital celestial influence in Vedic astrology. Chanting these names with devotion is believed to pacify the malefic effects of Chandra in one's horoscope, promoting emotional stability, mental clarity, and peace of mind. It is traditionally recited on Mondays to seek the blessings of the Moon, fostering tranquility, wisdom, and overall well-being.
