ৰৱি গ্ৰহ পঞ্চৰত্ন স্তোত্ৰম্

I bow to Divākara (the day-maker), who resembles the hibiscus flower, son of Kaśyapa, of great radiance, enemy of darkness, destroyer of all sins. (1)

Sūrya, Aryamā, Bhaga, Tvaṣṭā, Pūṣā, Arka, Savitā, Ravi, Gabhastimān, Aja, Kāla, Mṛtyu, Dātā, Prabhākara — (2)

Refuge of all beings, lord of all beings, saluted by all the worlds; Creator, dissolver, fire, the beginning of all, without greed — (3)

He is Brahman at sunrise; he is Maheśvara at midday; at the time of setting he himself is Viṣṇu — Divākara is the embodiment of the threefold divine. (4)

I bow to that Sūrya, mounted on a chariot of seven horses, fierce, son of Kaśyapa, holding a white lotus, the divine one. (5)
