From Puranas
Also known as budho budharcitah saumyah saumyacittah subhapradah
Language:Sanskrit

The Budha Ashtottara Shatanama Stotram is a sacred hymn comprising one hundred and eight names of Lord Budha, the planet Mercury in Vedic astrology. Found within various Puranic texts, this stotra praises the intellect, wisdom, and communication skills associated with the deity. Devotees chant these names to mitigate the negative influences of a poorly placed Mercury in their horoscopes. Regular recitation is believed to sharpen the mind, improve speech, enhance academic success, and bestow clarity of thought. It serves as a powerful meditative tool to invoke the blessings of the Lord of Wisdom for overall prosperity and intellectual growth.
