କେତୁ କଵଚମ୍

Ketu of terrible countenance, of many hues, wearing a diadem — I bow always to Ketu, shaped like a banner, lord among the planets.

Here begins the Armour of Ketu: May the many-hued guard my head, and he whose lustre is as smoke my brow; may the tawny-eyed guard my eyes, and the red-eyed my ears.

May he of golden sheen guard my nose, and the son of Siṃhikā my chin; may Ketu guard my throat, and the lord of planets my shoulders.

May the best of the gods guard my hands, and the great planet my belly; may he of the lion-throne guard my waist, and the great asura my middle.

May the great-headed guard my thighs, and the exceedingly wrathful my knees; may the fierce one guard my feet, and the tawny-red one my every limb.

The fruit of recitation: Whoever bears this divine armour — destroyer of every disease and of every enemy — becomes victorious.
