bha॒dra-ṅkarṇḙbhi-śśṛṇu॒yāma̭ devāḥ |
O Gods, may we hear with our ears that which is auspicious and noble.

O Worshipful Ones, may we see with our eyes that which is auspicious and noble.
sthi॒rairaṅgai᳚stuṣṭu॒vāgṃsa̭sta॒nūbhiḥ̭ |
May we, praising You with our bodies and limbs, remain steady and strong.
vyaśḙma de॒vahi̭taṃ॒-ya~dāyuḥ̭ ||
May we attain the full span of life ordained for us by the Divine.
sva॒sti na॒ indro̭ vṛ॒ddhaśra̭vāḥ |
May Indra, of ever-increasing glory, bestow auspiciousness upon us.
sva̭sti naḥ̭ pū॒ṣā vi॒śvavḙdāḥ |
May Pushan, the knower of all things, bestow auspiciousness upon us.
sva॒॒stina॒stārkṣyo॒ ari̭ṣṭanemiḥ |
May Garuda, whose circumference is indestructible, bestow auspiciousness upon us.
sva॒sti no॒ bṛha॒spati̭rdadhātu ||
May Brihaspati bestow auspiciousness upon us.
oṃ śānti॒-śśānti॒-śśāntiḥ̭ ||
yo̭-'pā-mpuṣpaṃ॒-ve~da̭ |
Om, may there be peace, peace, and peace. He who knows the essence of the waters, which is like a flower.
puṣpa̭vā-npra॒jāvā᳚-npaśu॒mā-nbha̭vati |
Becomes blessed with prosperity, noble progeny, and abundance of cattle.
ca॒ndramā॒ vā a॒pā-mpuṣpam᳚ |
The moon is indeed the flower of the primordial waters.
puṣpa̭vā-npra॒jāvā᳚-npaśu॒mā-nbha̭vati |
He who realizes this becomes blessed with flowers (prosperity), progeny, and cattle.
ya e॒vaṃ-ve~da̭ |
He who knows thus, attains this fruition.
yo̭-'pāmā॒yata̭naṃ॒-ve~da̭ |
He who knows the source/foundation of the waters.
ā॒yata̭navā-nbhavati ||
a॒gnirvā a॒pāmā॒yata̭nam |
Becomes established in that foundation; Fire is indeed the source of the waters.

We offer our obeisance to Vaisravana (Kubera).
sa me॒ kāmā॒n kāma॒ kāmā̭ya॒ mahyam᳚ |
May he fulfill all my desires, as I am one who seeks to be fulfilled.

Salutations to the Great King. Om, That is the Supreme Consciousness (Brahman).

Om, That is the Divine Self (Atman).
o᳚-ntathsa॒tyam |
Om, That is the Absolute Truth (Satyam).

Om, That is All (Sarvam).

antaścarati̭ bhūte॒ṣu guhāyāṃ-vi~̭śvamū॒rtiṣu |
Om, salutations to that Supreme Being who dwells within all living creatures, hidden in the secret space of their hearts, and who manifests as the forms of the entire universe.
tvaṃ-ya~jñastvaṃ-va~ṣaṭkārastva-mindrastvagṃ
You are the sacrifice, You are the sacrificial invocation (Vashatkara), You are Indra.
rudrastvaṃ-vi~ṣṇustva-mbrahmatva̭-mprajā॒patiḥ |
You are Rudra, You are Vishnu, You are Brahma, You are Prajapati.
tva-nta̭dāpa॒ āpo॒ jyotī॒raso॒-'mṛta-mbrahma॒ bhūrbhuva॒ssuva॒rom |
īśānassarva̭ vidyā॒nāmīśvarassarva̭bhūtā॒nāṃ
You are the primordial waters, the essence of light, the nectar of immortality, the Supreme Brahman, and the three worlds (Bhur, Bhuvah, Suvah); You are the ruler of all knowledge and the Lord of all beings.
brahmādhi̭pati॒-rbrahma॒ṇo-'dhi̭pati॒-rbrahmā̭ śi॒vo mḙ astu sadāśi॒vom |
tadviṣṇoḥ᳚ para॒ma-mpa॒dagṃ sadā̭ paśyanti sū॒rayaḥ̭ |
You are the Lord of creation and the master of the Vedas; may that auspicious and ever-blissful Lord be gracious unto me. The wise always perceive that highest state of Vishnu.
di॒vīva॒ cakṣu॒rāta̭tam |
Like an eye stretched across the heavens.
tadviprā̭so vipa॒nyavo̭ jāgṛ॒vāgṃ sassami̭ndhate |
The enlightened sages, full of wisdom and ever-vigilant, kindle that divine light.
viṣṇo॒ryatpa̭ra॒ma-mpa॒dam |
ṛtagṃ sa॒tya-mpa̭ra-mbra॒hma॒ pu॒ruṣa̭-ṅkṛṣṇa॒piṅga̭lam |
That highest state of Vishnu is the cosmic order, the truth, the Supreme Brahman, the universal Person, dark-complexioned and golden-hued.
ū॒rdhvarḙtaṃ-vi~̭rūpā॒kṣaṃ॒-vi~॒śvarṷ̄pāya॒ vai namo॒ namaḥ̭ ||
o-nnā॒rā॒ya॒ṇāya̭ vi॒dmahḙ vāsude॒vāya̭ dhīmahi |
Salutations again and again to Him who is the embodiment of celibacy (restraint), who has eyes that see in all directions, and who wears the form of the entire universe. We meditate upon Narayana, we contemplate Vasudeva.
tanno̭ viṣṇuḥ praco॒dayā᳚t ||
oṃ śānti॒-śśānti॒-śśāntiḥ̭ |
May that Vishnu inspire and enlighten our intellect. Om, peace, peace, peace.
