Lord Ganesha

śrī gaṇeśa (gaṇapati) sūktam (ṛgveda)

(Shri Ganesha (Ganapati) Suktam (Rigveda) in English (IAST))

From Rigveda

The Ganapati Suktam is a foundational Vedic hymn found in the Rigveda, primarily addressed to Brihaspati, who is identified as Ganapati, the lord of mantras and wisdom. Unlike later Puranic stotras, this Vedic hymn invokes the divine intellect to remove obstacles and grant success in righteous endeavors. Chanting this Suktam is considered highly auspicious for scholars, students, and those seeking spiritual clarity. It invokes the cosmic forces of order and eloquence, bestowing the practitioner with mental sharpness, intellectual brilliance, and the grace required to overcome complex challenges in life through the blessings of the Lord of Wisdom.
