The sixteen Ganapatis, given as a plain enumeration in verse — the first is Bala, the second Taruna, the third Bhakta, the fourth Vira, and so on to the sixteenth, Urdhva. They are the first sixteen of the thirty-two whose namavali is also in this collection, in the same order, and setting the two side by side turns up one real divergence: where that list has Dvija, the twice-born, this one has Dhvaja, the banner. The last three verses are the fruit. Recited at the three junctures it makes a man happy and victorious on every side; his obstacles run from him as snakes run from Garuda; and by the grace of the lord of the ganas he becomes, it says without qualification, greatly wise.

প্রথমো বালবিঘ্নেশো দ্বিতীযস্তরুণো ভবেত্ ।
তৃতীযো ভক্তবিঘ্নেশশ্চতুর্থো বীরবিঘ্নপঃ ॥ ১ ॥
পঞ্চমঃ শক্তিবিঘ্নেশঃ ষষ্ঠো ধ্বজগণাধিপঃ ।
সপ্তমঃ সিদ্ধিরুদ্দিষ্টঃ উচ্ছিষ্টশ্চাষ্টমঃ স্মৃতঃ ॥ ২ ॥
নবমো বিঘ্নরাজঃ স্যাদ্দশমঃ ক্ষিপ্রনাযকঃ ।
হেরম্বশ্চৈকাদশঃ স্যাদ্দ্বাদশো লক্ষ্মিনাযকঃ ॥ ৩ ॥
ত্রযোদশো মহাবিঘ্নো বিজযাখ্যশ্চতুর্দশঃ ।
নৃত্তাখ্যঃ পঞ্চদশঃ স্যাত্ ষোডশশ্চোর্ধ্বনাযকঃ ॥ ৪ ॥
এতত্ ষোডশকং নাম স্তোত্রং সর্বার্থসাধকম্ ।
ত্রিসন্ধ্যং যঃ পঠেন্নিত্যং স সুখী সর্বতো জযী ॥ ৫ ॥
তস্য বিঘ্নাঃ পলাযন্তে বৈনতেযাদ্যথোরগাঃ ।
গণেশ্বরপ্রসাদেন মহাজ্ঞানী ভবেদ্ধ্রুবম্ ॥ ৬ ॥
